Alright, Alex. My answer to you is that sexuality is not a choice. That's why so many people take part in relationships that can't bear offspring.
Homosexuality has always existed. I think the reason that there may seem to be more of it recently is that there's more tolerance for it now. With more and more people expressing support for the LGBTQ+ community, people feel more free to express or experiment with their sexuality. In the past, realizing that you're gay and hiding it was probably a big contributor to the lack of known homosexuality, but I also believe that the general intolerance may have made many people flat out deny their sexuality and move on with an awkward straight relationship or just remain single and assume they're just weird with relationships. -
If your goal was to be calm and logical, you mostly succeeded. If your goal was to get a response why are you being so logical?
-
There is literally no evidence that sexual it is not a choice
-
I would think every gay person saying that it's not and being unable to effectively take part in a straight relationship would be enough.
-
*But, actually, even if it were a choice, why does it matter if those relationships can't bear offspring? The world is overpopulated as it is.
-
Lol people say dumb s--- all the time. Obviously the word of deviants isn't enough.
-
The world isn't overpopulated. It's resources are nismanaged. But it as far as anything real goes? It really doesn't matter except to note the truth
-
*mismanaged

See, but honestly it still makes no sense to me. Maybe no matter how you explain it I won't, I don't know, but from my perspective, I just see it as something where people basically just join that "group" if you want to say it that way, just because they can, in which case doesn't really make sense if there's a major downside to it like there is.
I was being calm and logical in order to put my thoughts in a non-irratic way that won't make me look like I'm saying something that I'm not, and that was my goal, but what's the point of doing all that if no one is even going to give their opinion on it? -
Alright, well, I can't argue with that. I don't believe it's a choice because I don't remember making the choice and none of the gay people I've ever known have either. I want to find evidence on that matter but I admittedly don't know which ones are reliable sources. I only know my own experience, so I guess you've got me on that.
I understand the first two sentences of that, and that's fair. I'm afraid I don't understand those last two sentences. -
Not being able to have children naturally isn't really that big of a downside. If you don't want kids at all, it's not a problem. Even if you do want kids, there are a lot of children out there to be adopted. Give a kid that already exists a family rather than bringing a new one into the world. That sounds pretty rad to me.

As for the whole reproduction thing. I read a very interesting article on how homosexuality can benefit a species.

Okay, Twilight, you might be one of those Christian extremist lunatics that totally declines the use of being literate in anything but at least you can admit it?
And I don't know about "limiting" religious acts. I'm an atheist, but according to the Constitution you have the freedom to exercise any kind of religion. But since they have enforced the separation of church and state law, you cannot allow religion to interfere with the acts of the government or push your beliefs upon people in such an unlawful way. -
I would say that homosexuality isn't a choice. Homosexuality can be simply found in nature, such as animals or other organisms. Since humans are animals, I would say it would occur naturally to us the same way. Can't some specified animals change their sex and reproductive matter and conduct?

Twilight: Why do you keep referencing to the rapture or the final year where your sky daddy magically appears from his "marvelous" cloud, surrounded by glowing angels and he'll smite down all those sinners? For thousands maybe even millions of years, Christians of your own demographic that believe in these crazy conspiracies where Jesus comes back or there's a Pre-Tribulation period or whatever it's called have been believing that this biblical prophecy would happen in any year or day that they have predicted. Throughtout these piece of bulls--- predictions, none of it has happened and the universe just progressed as it supposed to be. Why does God suddenly choose "2017" as the last year of mankind and other organisms to rule Earth and all hell breaks loose? What glittering thought in your mind makes you believe that your inaccurate prediction would happen? And the way you use that "rapture or Jesus Comes Back" complex to totally scare people, to maybe even to the possibility to finally conform to your dumb--- beliefs, totally makes you such a justifiable and good person, so totally? You're such a wonderful and brilliant person.
Goodness gracious.
