I only heard about STDs when I was 11 or 12 and that was from a science lesson, I hadn't heard of them before then. I really don't think 1 hour is enough for everything, it would be kind of careless to tell it that quickly and then leave it. Also remember some kids know nothing at all and hearing all of that stuff at once can be a lot to take in
Geek I feel bad for you, most of what I learned was from school lessons or the other kids, some was from TV and a tiny bit from the internet. -
^another example of my point
-
What? You've got to be more specific.
-
Generally, by twelve, a person of intelligence will have the neccesery information.
-
I was soecific but just for you, since you didnt catch it the first time i rehashed it :D
-
Specific
-
However in a maxumimum of 5 hours time for a really in depth class the rates of unexpected pregnamcies and stds could drop substantially.
-
Oh really? Maybe where you grew up you were surrounded by older teenagers or you had been watching inappropriate stuff for years. I only knew kids my age and younger and I didn't freely surf the internet or watch adult shows so tell me where I was supposed to have learnt about STDs from?
-
Thank you for being specific just for me :) I mean if you have a guarded upbringing then it has nothing to do with your intelligence.
-
Lol lions i was an exception. Im not trying to say in avwrage at all, and yet the people here with a gaurded up bringing STILL learned by twelve is my point but to be fair, im not opposed to spending an hour or two on it.

tony youre assuming that every person has access to online resources. youre literally saying "dont educate children on how their bodies function, they can just google it". you think every child in America should either rely on their parents or their cell phones to learn about which hole a girl pees from? if its that easy, why dont we just abolish schooling in general? if a kid wants to learn algebra, he should just look it up or ask his dad about it, right? education shouldn't be an obligation
-
Thats so not at all what i literally said.
-
Lol no offense
