Wesley nodded. "I still can't say how grateful I am that you let me move in."

"Of course, Wesley. You're my best friend and I want to do whatever I can to help." Lucas smiled happily. "I'm so glad my dad was here and said it was okay."

Wesley smiled.

"Hehe, so I'll see you soon then." He waved and went downstairs, going outside.

Wesley nodded and watched Lucas leave then looked around the room. He hesitantly sat down on the bed, the comfortable ness of it nearly blowing his mind.

When Lucas walked out he went around to his favorite place by the fountain. It was sunny, but still a bit chilly out, though he didn't mind.

Wesley stood up again. He felt too dirty to be in such a clean house.

"Lucas!" He turned around and saw his mother sitting on a bench, looking very anxious as usual. "Ja, moeder?" She motioned for him to sit next to her, and he did. "A-Are you sure you can trust this friend of yours?" She began. "What if he isn't as safe and nice as you think h-he is?" Lucas shook his head. "Moeder, he's perfectly fine, I promise you. He wouldn't hurt anyone. All he needs is a place to stay, at least for the winter..." She didn't look completely reassured, but gave a light nod.

Wesley sighed softly, not knowing what to do, so he just went out to the garden.

(There's a bath ready in there, I think. ^^)
"If you say so." Lucas's mother got up and started back up the path to the house. Lucas sighed, saddened that his mother was so untrusting. -
(Then retrace his steps back inside to the bath.)
Wesley walked into the bathroom and looked at the bath. He didn't even remember ever having a bath before. -

Lucas decided to go back in and check on Wesley to see how he was doing. -
Wesley began to take off his clothing to get in the bath.

Lucas went up to the door, knocking softly. "Wesley, you there?"

Wesley was in his trousers. "Yea, I'm here!
