"So just name out a card? Like Ace of Spades?"
-
"No, you can choose any one at random and I'll make it float." He held out the cards so Wesley could choose.
-
"Oh, okay." Wesley Pointed at a card.
-
Lucas smiled and placed it on him hand. Within a few seconds the card started to lift off his hand effortlessly. "You can even feel under it to check. It's really... handy." He chuckled softly.
-
Wesley's jaw dropped, but not for long since he took another bite of the apple. "That's awesome."
-
"Heh, just a product of boredom." He put it back in the desk, and rested his arms on his knees.
-
"Thank you for bringing the food," Wesley said as he finished the apple, and began peeling an orange.
-
Bump! :D
-
Yay. :D *dance*
"No trouble at all." Lucas smiled. Soon he heard the voice of the old carriage driver calling his name, causing him to groan. "I think I have to go for now." He gave him a quick hug. "Take care of yourself, okay?" -
Kugelmugel NewbieWesley hugged back. "I will. Bye. See you soon, hopefully." Wesley was sad that his friend had to leave, but he just thought about how good it would be to seem him again.
-
Lucas reluctantly got up and left, finding the driver searching on the sidewalk. "Lucas, you can't just leave like that, son! Your mother would be extremely worried." "It's alright, I'm fine, sir." He got into the back of the carriage again, looking back as they left to go back home.
When they arrived, there was another carriage at the house. Surprised, Lucas grinned, knowing just who the owner of it was. "Father! You're finally home again!" He ran out and into the house to find his mother and father talking in the main foyer. -
(sorry for interrupting, but this is GOOD!
I'm gonna stalk this. *grabs popcorn*) -
(xD Why thank you, Sagey. :D)

Kugelmugel NewbieWesley sighed softly and hid the food and everything else in his secret hiding place. Everything Lucas had ever given him was kept there. He treasured that hiding place more than anything else, because it made him feel a little less poor, to actually own things. But he never went out in public with any of the stuff Lucas gave him, cause he knew someone would just come right up and take it from him. On the streets, it was every man for himself, and if you wanted something that another guy had, you would try and steal it. That's just how it worked out here.

I've been stalking this from the beginning.
