Jayce groaned, trying to move a hand to his face.
"How about I kick you instead?" -
Beth sighed in relief, adrenaline still running through her veins.
"So..." she began, "What was that about?" -
Clara rolled her eyes. "Very funny..."
She helped him up. -
Jayce shrugged. His eyes were now a deep gold.
"Whoever that was is sure to come back. I think it's time we had another sleepover."
Jayce grinned, forgetting about his major face wound. -

"Do you need a band-aid or something?" Beth said, as she examined the wound.

"A sleepover eh? This isn't a trick to get me into bed with you is it, Hotshot?" Clara said sarcastically.

Jayce shrugged.
"Dunno. I guess...maybe." -

Jayce looked horrified at Clara's comment.
"WHAT." -
"Im gonna get you a band-aid. Im not sure how though, I mean, were out trick or treating."
Beth flipped her hair back. -
Clara laughed. "I'm just kidding!" She punched him playfully.
Clara looked at Beth. "I think I'm done trick or treating. I say we camp out at Jayce's house for the night. Who knows if that creep is coming for us ..." -
Jayce still had a horified expression.
"Dirty thoughts...Ugh..." -
Beth looked around, rubbing her arm. "Yeah, you're right Clara."
"Jayce, are your parents ok with us coming over?" -
"My parents are cool with it. So let's go!" Clara starts walking in the direction of Jayce's house.
