@sick, you're not a downer because I'm always the same, whenever I write a book, I think it's s--- and never finish it.
But in my opinion, you're just as special as the Jade itself. =) You just have to really try.
I know I sound like some wise Chinese old man but hey, it's 6:30! -
It's okie sick I know how it feels to be so behind on crap and powerless. Maybe just focus hard on what's wrong and then once it's over things should lighten up.
