He opened his eyes and looked up at him for a while, seeming somewhat tired but happy to hear that.

Ivan kissed his forehead. "Now sleep, my love."

He nodded, closing his eyes and drifting off.

Ivan fell asleep soon after him.

He slept peacefully.

Ivan didn't have the best sleep. It was filled with nightmares about Giovanni.

At one point in the sleep, his fever began to act up again.

Ivan didn't notice, still buried in his nightmares.

He moved around uncomfortably, feeling that something was wrong with Ivan.

Ivan started crying in his sleep, after Giovanni had died yet again in another nightmare.

He heard him crying in his sleep. Giovanni woke up quickly, looked at him sleepily, and then shook him awake.

Ivan woke up. "What is it?" he asked Giovanni, not noticing the wetness of tears on his face.

"You were crying in your sleep," he yawned, seeming worried.
