"It's fine. She died when I was about five. I didn't really know her that well. But it was pretty hard for my cousins to Los their mom at such a young age." he said.

"It must have been pretty hard," he sighed softly, out of words.

Tray sighed. "Let's talk about something else."

"Yeah," he mumbled back. "I don't know, you seem to start better conversations than I."

"okay," Try thought for a sec. "Do you have/had any pets?"

"I have a dog. She's a German Shepard," he gave out a little sad sigh. "I miss her.. Uh, do you have any pets?"

Tray was about to pay Valentino's back comfortingly, but drew his hand away quickly. "Umm, I have a cat, and two dogs. My cats a mutt, and my two dogs, ones a pug, that's about to die, and the other is a bull s---." I cracked a little smile at that.

He smiled a little at the joked. "A bull s---? Wow, must be pretty amazing. I'm sorry to hear about your pug, though. Dying pets are pretty sad."

"Yeah, I already had a pug that died. And my bull s---, he's a pit bull/Shih Tzu mix."

The smile disappeared and he became rather solemn. "A lot of loss for you, huh?" he said, while imagining what a pit bull and Shih Tzu would look like.

"Yeah, it sucks," he said solemnly.

He remained quiet, and finally gathered enough courage to put his arm around Tray's shoulders and hold him like that tightly. "It's all okay, bro."

Tray laid his head on Valentino's shoulder, not even thinking about it. "Heh, thanks, dude."

He blushed lightly, but tried to ignore that Tray's head was on his shoulder. "U-Uh, so w-were hungry right? Restaurant is o-over there."
