He kissed back, and caressed his cheek in his hand. "Now I wish we didn't have the ball, so I could just lie here with you." He gave a soft smile. "But doing this may bring us and many others acceptance."

"I know," Connor said, nodding. "Should we get dressed again then?"

Shiloh nodded and sat up, using a nearby towel to wipe them off. "When the king arrives, they'll do this whole ceremony and party, so we may have to wait a bit before we can go up and talk to him."

Connor nodded. "Okay."

The prince dressed up again quickly, then turned back to Connor with a smile. "Ready, love?"

Connor dressed quickly as well. "Yes," he said and held out his arm.

Shiloh took his arm and walked beside him happily. -
"You do know I have no idea where to go, right?" Connor said.

"Right. I'll show you to the ballroom." He said, leading the way.

"Okay," Connor said, smiling. He followed Shiloh happily.

Shiloh brought them down the corridor, to a large doorway that lead to an even larger room. Everything was made to look absolutely elegant and royal, with gold trims and stone columns. It was already filling up full of excited people, the king's arrival very soon. -
"Woah..." Connor murmured in awe of the spectacular design. "It's all absolutely beautiful."
