Connor nodded. "Okay. I'll just be waiting."

The prince left to his quarters to bathe as he waited for the clothes to arrive.

Connor laid on the floor there and just thought about Shiloh and how glad he was that they met.

Shiloh couldn't take his mind off Connor, either. Just before the time traveler showed up he figured he'd never get to be his true self, and that he'd probably never even fall in love. It was like meeting the other half of his heart.

(It's always hard for me to figure out what to say when you say something like that..)
Connor sighed happily and got up, walking over to the couch and sitting down. -
(Sorry, I'm too flowery of a writer, heh. I'll cut down on that.)
He finished up and started getting ready. Elizabeth came into Connor's room and laid out a very fancy-looking, male formalwear outfit of the time. -
Connor stood up. "Why thank you, m'lady. I much appreciate the kindness."

She smiled warmly. "It's no trouble. I can tell the prince really cares for you. It's going to be difficult, but I want to do my part to help you both as I can."

Connor went over to her and hugged her lightly. "Thank you so much, m'lady. It means so mucho I know someone is willing to help us.

She was surprised at the gesture at first, but hugged him back nicely. "You're very welcome, son. I think of that boy as if he were my own child, since the queen died when he was young. So I very much care about his well-being." She smiled softly. "You seem to be a very good young man as well. As long as you don't break his heart, I'm fine with both your choices."

"I promise. I will never do that. I love Shiloh too much to ever hurt him."

She nodded. "I'm glad. I know he feels the same way." Collecting her basket again, she waved goodbye to him and left. "See you at the ballroom."

Connor nodded. "You too."

Once Shiloh finished getting ready, he went down to sneak back into Connor's quarters.

Connor was changing into the new clothes.
