Connor nodded, proceeding to just eat.

Shiloh did the same, enjoying just being with him. He hoped they wouldn't have any disturbances anytime soon.

"That was really good," Connor said as he finished his sandwich.

He nodded softly and smiled. "The cooks do a good job around here. And it's even nicer as a picnic, hehe."

"Yes, it is. Instead of having you talking to all those other people, I get to have you all to myself." Connor wore a smirk upon his lips.

Shiloh chuckled. "Exactly. And I can do this." He leaned forward and kissed him sweetly.

Connor smiled and kissed back happily.

Shiloh smiled, staying close to him and eventually laying his head on his shoulder.

Connor gently wrapped an arm around him.

There was a knock at the door, and instead of waiting the figure came in and shut it. It was Elizabeth (the motherly servant). "Ah, thought I'd find you both here." She set down some laundry. "Prince, your father is arriving early. He will be here tonight, and they have scheduled a ball to be going on for his return. You'll have to go, and I've arranged for formal clothes to be coming soon." She looked over at them softly. "I could also arrange for some proper clothing for your friend as well." Shiloh smiled brightly upon hearing that.

Connor nodded. "I'd like that," he told Shiloh.

Shiloh nodded and smiled. "Great. It'll be nice not having to go alone." Elizabeth gave a nod. "It should be fine. Well, I'll go now. Starting getting ready in an hour." She gave a light curtsy and left.

When she left, Connor saddened slightly. "But, we can't do anything..." he said softly.

"...Maybe..if I could talk to my dad or..." He blushed softly at his next thought, almost giggling. "Dress like a princess, instead."
