"That was the engine. The thing that powers the car." He revved the engine a few times before putting the car into drive. He drove down the road, going pretty fast.

He watched, eyes widening especially as they start going faster. "A-all this happened in only two hundred years?" He held onto Connor's hand for comfort.

"Yeah. We also have cell phones, touch screens, toilets." He smiled.

Shiloh chuckled. "So much to learn, but I think I like this century already!"

"Yeah, it's pretty good here, I guess."

He looked out the window and drive shield, curious of the whole new place. "Where are we going? Do you live around here?"

I shook my head. "No, I live all the way on the other side of the country." he said.

"Wow...this country is really big, isn't it? I remember hearing that you all were exploring westward in my time so..."

"Yeah. That about right."

"Lovely, there must be a lot of things to see then." He yawned softly but smiled, resting his head back on the chair.

"Are you tired, dear prince?" Connor pulled into the parking lot of a motel.

"Yes, I believe I am." He looked up a bit with eyes half lidded. "Is this the place of lodging?"

"yeah. We can stay here tonight if you don't want to go back to your time yet."

"Of course, I'd love to stay." When they were parked he turned toward him and smiled. "Thank you for taking me to your world, dear Connor."

"It's the least I could do, really." Connor smiled at Shiloh.
