I jump down. "Ok, I guess we just go straight." I start walking

"Okay." I follow Juliet.

I walk until I find a small sideroad, completely abandoned and hidden by trees. "I'm tired. How about we take a break here?"

"Good idea." I plop down.

I take two granola bars out of my backpack, and hand one to Jerry.

"Thanks."

"No problem." I unwrap mine, and eat it.

I sit in silence, quietly eating. "So... Never met your parents, huh?"

"No. They died when I was really young." I lean back against the wall and yawn.

"Oh, sorry...." I'm not sure what to say since I'm not good with parents.

"It's fine. I don't remember them anyways." I hold onto the book in my pocket again. -

I scratch the scar, at a loss for words. I wanted to comfort her, but I wasn't sure what to say. -
