Laptop would suck for the Sims 3, unless it's really expensive. :/

Okay, that makes sense. Our desktop is fairly new, so it still has oodles of space left.

Hm... Definitely something for the desktop then. Besides, my laptop's bound to die for good any day now. The rechargeable battery is shot. Only a bit less than two years old and I already have to buy a new battery... Maybe it's still covered under the warranty. :/
