"Well, we never really talk much. She goes on trips all the time for work and when she's here, she's usually designing. But she's funny and we tell jokes to each other. She's more a friend than my mom."

"Oh.." I smiled weakly, hurt that I didn't have a mom and couldn't experience the emotion of love I never could emote.
(A few pages ago I said that her dad died of lung cancer. x3 I meant her mom.) -
I went over and pulled her into a hug. "I'm so sorry, Pandora."

"Its... okay..." I suddenly exploded into tears, hugging him tightly. I buried my head into his broad shoulder, tears soaking his shirt. Oops...

I rubbed her back soothingly. "Just let it out."

I continued crying sadly. I soon realized that Jake's hugs were... special. Like no other.

I didn't care that she was soaking my shirt. She felt so good in my arms.

I continued to cry, but soon I just stayed in his arms, not crying anymore.

I just kept on holding her, even after she stopped crying. I rubbed her back gently.

I smiled and looked up at Jake.

I smiled down at her. I couldn't resist. I bent down my head and kissed her gently.
