Alice opened her small rag purse and pulled out a china doll dressed like an angel. She had hid it from the mistress for many year.

Tiffany looked at the doll and said "That's pretty, why don't you-" Tiffany was cut off by her mother "You were whipped?!"

Pellini stared at the China doll suprised. "It's beautiful!" she said. "I love it."

Alice nodded. "Yes ma'm"

"By who?!" just then their father cam in and said "Who was whipped"

Pellini looked at the clock. It was 1:25. "I think I need to go home." Pellini said as She grabbed Chip.

Alice looked down, tears running down her cheeks. "By my mistress at the orphanage. But don't, please, don't say a thing. I ran away."

"Bye" the twins said "It was nice meeting you"

Pellini walked out the door and walked back to her home. She hoped she wouldn't run into the bullies agian. When Pellini got home,her mom had ice cream in a bowl for her. "Thanks mommy!" Pellini exlaimed,and grabbed the spoon and ate her ice cream. Then she went outside to play with chalk.

Alice hugged back. "My brother... my brother Matt is still there and my sister Claire died of polio."

Thier father was outraged "I'm calling the police"" he stated, and went off to find the phone.

"NO! DON'T, DON'T! THEY'LL SEND ME BACK" she screamed.

Their mother looked at Alice and said "Not if we adopt you"

Seriously, this really does belong in literature.
