Alice looked at the other girl. "I ran away from the orphanage. My name's Alice."

"I'm Annie" Annie said "and this is my twin sister, Tiffany" "Hello" Tiffany said.

Alice waved. "Hi"

"Do you want to come in? We're having cake and ice cream!" Tiffany said

Alice nodded.

Annie and Tiffany lead Alice inside, and to the kitchen. Their mom came in and saw Alice's rags. "Oh! We need to get you new cloths!" Annie and Tiffanys mom gave Alice some hammy-downs. "Much better!"

Alice looked at her clothes. They were so much better than her rags. "Thank you m'am"

"You're very welcome dear" A and T's mom said, as she gave the three girls cake and ice cream. "Happy birthday girls" their father said, kissing them both on the head.

Alice saw their mother and father and felt jealous. They weren't orphans like herself.

"Who is this?" their father asked "Alice" they said in unison.

Alice looked at the floor and blushed furiously.

"Nice to meet you Alice" their mother said "Feel free to stay as long as you like" their father added, while Annie and Tiffany dug into their cake and ice cream.

Alice nodded. "Thank you sir. I hope I'm not trouble to you."

"Of course not" their father said "Go ahead, eat!" their mother told her "We've got plenty."

Alice nodded and ate some cake and icecream, at first having no idea what the heck it was but when she tried it she really liked how it tasted.
