"Artimis... That's a cool name." He sat down on the cool grass, his legs tired from standing. "Must be cool, having a sibling."
-
"Not really. He gets on my nerves often."She said.
I might get dragged down stairs any second so sorry if disapear. -
That's okay. I might be forced to go outside and babysit my cousins.
"Hm, how so? You two must be pretty close though, regardless. Most siblings usually are, according to my findings." -
"We're pretty close I guess..."She said.
-
"My family... My lack of a family is as divided as possible," he managed a bit of a scoff. "I'm not that great at holding up relationships."

Hm... Maybe they should be walking back into town and Aden's mother should yell at him for not coming to church in front of her? And she'll say something about how 'you've gone absolutely haywire ever since your father left'... Then Aden should have to explain what happened? Just an idea, so that they can get to know each other more...?
-
Sure!
-
They walked back into town. People were now out and about on the streets. Church had been let out. Keeping his head down, Aden walked alongside Elicia.
"ADEN!" He cringed at the sound of his mother's voice and kept walking. "Aden Alexander Smith!" his mother hollered. He stopped and turned to face her.
"What is it, Mom? I'm kind of busy," he rolled his eyes, glaring at her.
"You didn't come to church. What in God's name is wrong with you!? Your father would have -"
"MOM. You can't control me. And don't pull the 'your father would have...' crap on me. It doesn't do any good." He stood motionless, his hands in the pockets of his jeans. His shoulders were slightly slumped, indicating that though his voice screamed confidence, he was in fact not confident in the least. -
Elicia tilted her head slightly, blinking.
-
"Your father always told you to believe in God and all of his blessings. You've shamed him... If he was here, with us, he would have knocked some sense into you," his mother spat.
-
Elicia bit back a sharp comment. Not the time..plus, you can't reveal your a demon..
-
Aden s--- his eyes, grimacing. Every time... Every time she used that it ripped open all of the old wounds from years ago.
"No... He'd get it... He'd understand.." Aden replied, his voice quiet, laced with hurt and mourning.
His mother sighed, agitated. "We'll discuss this later." She walked off quickly, disappearing into the crowd of die-hard Christians. -
*shut his eyes
