Okie, I have a bit of an idea. It's not very original, though.
A couple in their senior year of college has plans to get married in about a year or so. They plan to explore the world and spend every waking moment together. While the girl to family needs, the boy becomes terminally ill. Once they finds out and are able to get to the hospital, the diagnosis is discovered. The boy has a brain tumor and has about six months to live. -

Okie, no problem. I was questioning it myself as well. Hmmm... Here we go.
It's the distant future, and World War III has broken out. All of the major world powers are fighting over the last of the world's pure water, land, and resources. The environment is pretty much dead, and the population of the world is quickly diminishing. Two brothers are torn apart, each fighting for an opposing nation. They communicate through letters throughout the war, though the love and affection that brothers should have is not present within their relationship. The plot line takes place mostly on the battlefield and in military camps/bases. -

Hmmm... Maybe this might do...
In the modern world, select angels are sent down from Heaven to ward off evil demons and beings. Currently, many demons possess humans, which are "by far the most flawed creatures God has created," the angels think. (If you've read the Mortal Intruments series it's kind of like that.) These angels specialize in "exterminating" demons, whether it be through warning or combat.
