"What... is high school like?" I bit my lip. -
I grinned. "It's interesting, to say the least." I paused. "But surely you wouldn't want to hear about my personal experience; it's different for everyone."

"Oh..." I looked down. I'd never been to a real school, only a little home school on a computer by myself. "Whacha doin'?" I said, peeking at his homework.

"Just some calculus homework. It's pretty basic." I glanced at the paper on my desk, then back up at Rebekah.

"Oh... Do you need any help?"

"I think I've got it handled. But if you'd like, you could keep me some company. It gets pretty lonely sometimes."

"Okay..." I smiled and sat beside him.

I scrawled out my work on the paper, murmuring various steps as I went along, solving the problem.
