"That we could be more than friends," I murmured just above a whisper, looking into her eyes.

"Yes." I nodded, never leaving his eye contact.

I stared into her eyes, wanting to kiss her. A small part in me knew that I shouldn't do it. I shouldn't let people get close to me...

I kissed him without hesitation.

It took me no more than a second to respond, kissing back.

Oh my god... wow. I pulled back after a few seconds, blushing. "Wow..."

I stared at my feet, twiddling my thumbs. If my heart was actually beating, my face would have been bright red as well.

"I'm sorry..." I ran of in the direction of the house, and opened the front door. I ran up the stair case and reached my room. I slammed the door, and locked it, laying on my bed speechless.

"No, Rebekah!" I turned to catch her, but she was halfway to the house. I stood outside for the longest time, thinking about what had just happened.

I stared at the ceiling, thinking about what happened.

I walked into the house, quietly shutting the front door behind me. I went into the living room, sitting at my grand piano. I pulled out my sheet music and played a song I was in the process of composing.

I heard Cole playing the piano, and silently sneaked out of my room. I went to the staircase and stood there, listening to the beautiful song.

My fingers flew across the keys, playing the song flawlessly. I bowed my head, sensing Rebekah nearby. I reached the highest and most moving part of it. This song always brought tears to my eyes. It held so much meaning and so much of my emotion...

I started crying. The song was beautiful and moving. I inhaled raggedly.
