First day in a new school. A public school. I don't belong here I thought panicking.

I was running late for school today, because I had to drop off Fred(my hamster), at the veterinarian's office for his check-up. To make things worse, when I got to class, someone tripped me. After falling flat on my face, that same person had the nerve to say,"What a loser."

Someone showed up late to first class. I didn't bother looking. I heard them fall then someone say "What a loser". Immature little brats I thought shaking my head and rolling my eyes.

I noticed that there was someone new. "Why even try to see if he wants to be friends, Izzy? He's probably just like the rest of them." I thought, glancing at him.

The class went by quickly. The students here were very different from the ones at the academy. They werre talking during class, texting, throwing paper and spitballs. 9_9 Kids these days

I sat through class, partially paying attention. I was mostly worried about how I would have to pick up Fred after 3rd hour. I knew that I would have to drag him around during school, and basically protect him from the stupid, lowlife guys.
