A blonde girl stopped in front of me and said,"You must be the new girl. I'm Lianne." She had such a fake smile on. "Hi. I'm Ashley."

Eric got a few glares from some of the students as class began. Eventually, after spending a long time not paying attention, Eric was called on. He stared at the teacher for a moment, then grinned. He gave an answer. The correct answer, to be precise.

The teacher arrived before she could say anything else. He had me introduce myself to the class and then I sat down again.While the teacher spoke I was messing around in my own thoughts. When the class ended, I was one of the first people out the door. I stopped for a second to look at my schedule. my second period was Gym class. I groaned. I was good at it but didn't like it at all. I started to walk towards the gym again.

From that point, Eric had proven to not only be much smarter than he appeared, but the smartest student in the class as well. When the class ended, Eric looked at his schedule. Hmm... English. Shouldn't be too hard, considering we speak the same language at home at respect it so much more...

All gym class amounted to was me getting to demonstrate how to play tennis.
At break I picked a tiny oak tree to sit by. I started doodling. A bunch of girls came up to me, led by Lianne. She said,"Umm, Ashley this is where my girls and I like to hang out. So if you don't mind. Would you scoot your booty to anywhere else." "Unless you lawfully own this tree.I don't have to move." She obviously wasn't used to confrontation. She gave me a nasty look and then trotted away with her entourage. -
English hadn't been too hard... It hadn't been like a typical English class he'd have had back home. That teacher was much more critical of them.
At break Eric spotted Ashley under a tree. He went and sat next to her, grinning. "Hey." -
"Hi Eric."I said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "How was your day so far?"

"Easy. I'd rather be at a college. You?" He leaned back against the tree, glancing around at some of the other students.

"Already got a bunch of girls pissed at me. Otherwise, pretty good." I continued my drawing.

"That can't be too fun." He glanced at her notebook, curious what she was drawing.

"Eh. It doesn't matter." I was drawing a flower, a lily to be precise.

Eric looked at the drawing. "That's pretty good." -
"It's not good. At least not really good."I said with a smile. Glancing up I saw Lianne coming toward us. Stopping by Eric, she said,"You could do a whole lot better. Just saying."
