I woke up the next morning to my mom yelling,"We're going to be late if you don't get up now!" I rushed into the bathroom,took a shower, put my clothes and make-up on, and got down to the car in twenty minutes. When we arrived at the school, the parking lot was filled with people. My mother rushed through the process of getting me transferred and the principal printed out my schedule. -
Eric smiled a little, flipping through the science textbook, bored. I already know all this... and Joyce's about here. He stopped halfway through the book. He'd cleverly found a way to enroll at the school that morning, and had his schedule. This should be fun.

"New school, fresh start."I thought nervously, walking towards my first class.I really didn't want any drama. I just wanted to get through there without having to deal with anyone. But of course that's never the way it goes.

Eric closed the book and leaned back in his chair with his feet on his desk, looking bored. -

My first class was English. The bell had wrung at least three minutes ago,but the teacher still wasn't there.Probably walking here as slow as they can. I don't blame them. I thought. Sitting down in the only clear desk, I tried to keep to myself. -
The teacher walked in and glanced around the classroom, her eyes stopping at Eric. "Mr.... Thompson," she checked his name on a sheet on her desk. He smirked. What? It was the first name he could think of. "Please take your feet off of your desk and sit properly."
Eric rolled his eyes. "Whatever." He sat 'properly.' This was an AP class full of near-perfect students. And the teacher probably thought he was an idiot in the wrong class. He'd surprise her.
