Get over your shyness!
Mana has rarely spoken in public. In his filmed interviews, he whispers into the ear of a band member or confidante, who then relates his words back to the interviewer. He has also been known to simply look at the camera as subtitles appear, as well as using Yes/No cards and expressing himself in mime.
He has, however, spoken on a few occasions. At a 1996 Malice Mizer interview on the TV show Hot Wave, he apparently accidentally replied with his name and his position in the band when introduced on the show. Throughout the rest of the interview, Mana whispered in Gackt's ear.
In another interview, promoting their single "Gekka no Yasoukyoku", he was sitting on the floor. When the interviewer went to Mana and asked him what he was doing and why he was sitting that way, he replied "It's cute".
He has also offered his vocals to the song, "Kyomu no Naka de no Yuugi", though his voice was heavily distorted. -
He does look a lot like Kaya-mama... .3.
But I can point out differences! -

xD Mana-sama, I always had a liking of him for some reason.

He's so damn quiet. But it's kinda cute. I seriously don't see how people confuse Kaya for him. >.> One; He's a guitarist, not a singer and two; there are so many differences between the two.

I agree, and Kaya looks much more upbeat, while Mana's the dark, gothic beauty. And plus Kaya has a more lovely queen look if you ask me. But I love them both. :3

But yes it is. .3. That time period, Ophelia, was when he was most confused for Mana. -
I see the difference, Mana's lips have more sharp angles. .w.

And Mana's nose is a little wider at the nostrils.

Kaya's lower lip is puffier.
And Mana has never really had curls like Kaya's.
Kaya is often seen smiling. -
Ah, I see that now, Mana does have straight hair even if it has a lot of volume. Tis true and interesting. :3
