Okay, so there's this protest thing downtown. It's been going on for like, two months. -
What's it about? There's one in the city I live in, too.

What does that mean?

Well, it was originally about the tax breaks and the big companies and the local companies, but then it became a big thing for four types of people. The first is those who were originally protesting for the original reason. The others are protesters making random protests, homeless people, and minor criminals.

It seems like eventually, a bunch of random people who really don't care what happens join out of boredom. >.

That's usually what happens. Then when the police interfere they want to get hurt.
Ours kinda is too. Portland has too many small businesses. I'd cry if we got a Walmart or something downtown.
