Back at my hotel room, I tested the new weapon. I pricked my pinky this time with the knives. These are soooo sharp! Delighted, I washed my pinky off and put a bandage on it. Then I began to look over the information. I wrote about the weapon in my notes. -
I finally arrived back at my cozy little apartment that I've become attached to. I sat on my couch and laid the rat's blood on the coffee table in front of me. I couldn't wait any longer, I bit the bag and within seconds I finished it. The blood brought up hidden energy and all of a sudden I felt like nothing could defeat me, I was so ready to get that hunter.

I frowned. I'd heard that vampires could get stronger by drinking rat's blood. Gross. I just hoped she didn't get her hands on any.

As the rat's blood pulse I knew I shouldn't waste the other blood packs so I hid them in my closet. Not much of a hiding place, but it would have to do for now. The hunter would come again, and this time we would both be more prepared. -

If she did, would poison cut it? Probably not. I flipped open the largest blade and looked at it. I smiled. This time, I wouldn't hold back. -

Hmmm, maybe my apartment wouldn't be such a good place to fight. If she was such a good hunter she'll be able to follow my scent. Then I headed to an open field I passed by earlier. -
I wondered where the vampire was. I hoped she wasn't in a large place. I did better in small places.

Finally I arrived at the field, even though I hadn't practiced in big fields before.

I sighed. I may as well do something; the vampire would probably be out at night. I left the hotel and started on my way to a field I'd heard briefly about.
