"At least afterward we have gym and home." He took his hand and walked him in.

"Yeah," he said. When they had arrived at his classroom, he said, "Thanks.. A lot."

"Never a problem~." He said happily and squeezed his hand softly. "See you afterwards."

He giggled and nodded. "See you." Without another word, he slipped into class.

He walked down and into his class, grinning all the way.

When he walked into the classroom with a bright smile, the students looked at him with questioning eyes. Never had they seen him so happy.

I'm sorry if this is wrong but I saw this pic and thought of Nick. ^^
"Why's emo boy so happy?" A snobby girl cackled in class to her friend.
"Dunno, but it's strange..."
Cause I have a boyfriend a million times better than yours. He thought to himself, smiling.
After the bell rang class began as usual. -
Oh yesh~ 'Cept his eyes are blue. :3
Once class began and his teacher started the lesson, he felt the sharp tip of a pencil being shoved into his side. He winced and turned around.
"Can I ruin your day?" the boy behind him snickered. A girl next to him kept in her laughter. -

The teacher began lecturing on proper ways to perform, while a couple people eyed Alex. His mind wondered if anyone was trying to give Nick trouble. -
"Sure," he grinned.
His answer shocked the boy. Usually Nick would give a quiet "Please don't..", but this time, he seemed almost intimidating. Instead of going along as he planned, he stayed silent. -
Go Nick! :D
They played through an old song no one ever heard before. Instead of the usual banging, Alex played a lot more calmly. Even the grouchy teacher noticed the difference in him. What could be the cause of it? -

The teacher had found it strange that he was actually paying attention in class now, but of course, it was a good thing. So naturally, he ignored it.
"What's up with that little runt? Seems happy," the same boy from before whispered to the girl next to him. She shrugged.
Nick only smiled. -
The couple of jocks frowned for a second but then smirked as they got an idea. As time went by the class came to an end. Right before the bell they went up to him.
"Why the hell is a pathetic emo like you happy?"
"I'm not emo, and why do you care?" He smiled.
"Cause you usually look like you're going to kill yourself or somebody else at any moment." They glared.
"Well then this is a good change then, yes? I don't feel like doing those things anymore." He whispered now. "Only if you mess with something I love." He smiled, a menacing aura on him. The boys nodded surprisedly and backed away. -
nick wrote down some final notes as he waited for class to end.
Meanwhile, the same two were discussing quietly on how to confront him, discreetly and quickly.
".. Deserves it.. Sudden change.. Pathetic.." -
The bell finally rang and Alex started walking down to find Nick. The two jocks from before decided to do some spying. "'Mess with something I love', he's definitely with someone." "But who would date him? Stupid loser." "Probably another stupid loser."
