"I know, wish I could sneak in with you." He chuckled.

"You'd get in trouble," he giggled.

"Yeah..heh." Worth it though...

"Maybe I could sneak into your class. I'm kinda small," he laughed softly.

He giggled. "If I had a bigger backpack that could work. Hey, if anything or anyone bothers you tell me." He patted his shoulder softly.

"Okay," he smiled.

He smiled back, and it soon became time to leave. "See you later."

"Same," he said, waving as he ran to his first class.

He walked in and took his seat, boredly listening to the teacher take role call.

Once in class, his teacher took role call and went over the day's agenda. Nick sighed and listened carefully, though he was detaching himself from the instructions, little by little.

They went over last night's homework, so between checking problems his mind wandered away.

"Hey, idiot, get the books," a boy hissed at him. Abruptly awoken from such a mindless state, Nick blinked in confusion. "The BOOKS!" the boy said loudly into his ear. Nick cringed and went to gather the English text books for his group.

The boy behind him started pulling a twirling his hair. He pulled back and glared at him. "Don't touch me." The other boy just smirked and shrugged. "Oh I thought you were a chick, pretty boy." The guy's friends laughed and high fived him. Alex just rolled his eyes and turned back to his paper.

He slammed the books on the table, and felt himself trip on something. He fell to his knees, feeling the pain rise in both his knees and hands. "Har har, sorry!" the same any laughed.

The boy continued pulling at his hair, which caused Alex to growl softly and pull the hood of his jacket over his head. The teacher noticed and frowned. "Alex, you know the rules. No hoods in class." "I wouldn't wear it ma'am if he'd stop touching my hair." She looked over at the snickering boy behind him. "Carlos, please come sit here." She pointed to the desk in front of her. The boy got up angrily and kicked Alex's backpack as he went.
