Mayor made a deal with bad pirates, Mayor didn't fullfill deal, bad pirates destroy village? -
good idea :D
"I told him he was a bigger fool than the village idiot and called him a monkey's butt..." Tingy said, her loud mouth has gotten her into trouble many times before. -
Liz giggled, but stopped when she heard screaming.

"Whut." Tingy said, looking around for the origin of the yelp.

Then, another person screamed. And another. And another. Until the air was full of them. "It's sounds like it's comming from the village."

"I smell blood.." Ting said, "Shall we go check it out?" she said, pulling out three sticks from her back and attaching them together to form a scythe, just in case.

"Yeah, we should." Liz replied, starting towards it.

Ting followed, the strange feeling of horror increasing with each step, that ominous feeling that something terrible is amiss. (too many big words xD)

When the two arrived, the screams had decreased slightly. Many dead bodies littered the ground, and even more were falling. The cause? Pirates. -

"merch...apple lady....they're all dead...my friends...my village..." Tingy muttered, facing her head on the ground to avoid eye contact, tears welling up and slowly disappating, she clenched her fist and looked up, biting her lip, there was a pirate about to kill another.

Liz stared, to shocked to cry. "I've gotta be dreaming......" she mutered.

Tingy ran over, tears falling, ready to strike at the pirate, but instead, another pirate struck at her, she dodged his first move but she was not expecting a second blow, hitting her in the gut, sending her flying into the fruit stand.

"Hey! No hurting my new friend!" Liz shouted, running up and kicking the pirate in the face.
