Switch could feel herself growing angry. She was hurting and cold and hungry, and instead of eating and resting, as she should directly after an assignment, she was on a new one. She kept going, recognizing the path that would lead to an old church.
A perfect place to die. In repentence. -
(I have to go eat dinner. Will you still be on? Please wait.)
-
Jade waled down the stairs where she saw a small little door. Taking out the key from her pocket, she carefully went and unlocked it. The dim light made it even harder to see then in broad daylight.
Closing the door behind her, she took the torch that hung on the left wall and lit it with a single match. She then continued to walk quickly down the dusty path.
If I get out of this alive, I'm going to burn Eathes to the ground. Along with there twisted little workers. -
(KK, I'll wait. And yeah, I'l still be on.)
((Correction: their* Stupid me xD )) -
(Here. By the way- Twisted, you say? Okay. Twisted it is.)
Switch continued on, and the form of the church came into view. She smiled.
"Falling down, falling down. For costing me my kill, your falling down." she sang to herself. -
Jade heard the tune, but not the words: it was silent enough for her to pick up everything.
She strated running, knowing that she was running out of time.
She blew out and dropped the torch, so the light wouldn't follow her.
I'm not going to die: not this time. -
Switch walked into the church, still singing her little song. She stopped for a moment at the alter. It made her dizzy, being near it. She closed her eyes for a moment, but only enough to realize that no amount of prayer would save her from Hell.
"I don't care if I go to hell." she commented to the alter, and another shot of pain in her leg and shoulder reminded her of her mission. Then she continued on, this time in a sprint, the song finding it's way out of her mouth again. -
Jade recognized the voice: it was just like the other assasins: sweet, sultry, and all too dangerous.
With the tips of her fingers, she felt for the hidden door, that which would lead her straight to the metro station.
When she finally found it, she pushed it open, then closed again.
People were everywhere now, walking in and out of the underground train. She looked around and walked towards it, with no intention of entering.
If they find me, I will fight. I will break my Oath once more, and fight to the death. No regrets: they deserve to die. Every last one of those demon-like people. -
Switch could feel it now- the rumble of trains, close. She had easily located the tunnel. She changed her song.
"Goin' to Hell, I know it's true. I've burned every bridge, every ladder away. But I'll drag you down with me, my dear little prey, my dear little friend, their the same." This song felt strange, so she quieted herself altogether, now sprinting down the tunnel, toward the sound. She could feel it now. Something was wrong. Her arm was petrified in pain, her leg barely able to move. She kept going- understanding the punishment of failing this assignment. She neared a door, forcing the pain to the back of her mind. -
(Sun! I'm back! I checked out manga from the library and saw a smexy emo TWICE! Other than that, it was boring.)
-
(Selena, join this soap? You can find a place! My twisted partner, or Nikki's escaping friend. Whatever you like! Wanna?)
-
(... I kinda wanted to do the other one...)
-
(Kay, I'll alternate between this one and our other one. That okay?)
-
Then it pulled up: a large, red train. It stood out amongst the uniform blue, but everyone knew where it went: North. Across the border, which was ever so close.
This train led straight to the outskirts of Montreal, Canada. It was an hour's train ride, but the red train only came once every hour. Jade was sure that she was being followed, but she was also sure that the follower couldn't be close enough to cath this train.
So she entered and took her seat in the back, close to the emergency exit. There were only a few other people in the train, so she took out her long, silky blonde wig, a red trench coat and a pair of red heels. She also went ahead and did up her makeup, thinking that her disguise was much better than her last.
Montreal, here I come. If I'm lucky, I'll get to Quebec City by morning. -
(*shrugs* It's up to you...)
