Everyone says to me, "That's cool, 'Claire', but I know someone who draws x1000 times better." "Why do you always have to draw in THAT style?" "Why can't you draw chicks?" "That looks like a girl!" She's the only one that says, "Alice, that's really good! You should help me with drawings for posters, I'm sure everyone would love them!" And I appreciate it and all, but seriously, when someone says something similar to the first thing, you can see how crushed I would feel. :I Ten years of patient drawing and nothing. Everyone hates it.

I love your drawings, don't listen to them f---s, everyone goes at their own pace, unless that person can draw better, they have no right to really judge xP -
@Lil I would show you. xP But that's only if you want. @Ting But still. xP It brings me down a lot. I know I shouldn't really care, hell I should take it as tough critique, but I seriously hate that people who have been drawing less time than me have better skillz. Dx

That doesn't count as a critique it's more like belittling like saying 'you suck and you should stop drawing' you can't compare artists because everyone learns differently and has different techniques and fundamentals, comparisons DON'T COUNT because we're all different, you can't compare two things that are different. -
