My grandma and grandpa are arguing and my grandma is saying something about how it's rude that he's treating her like crap (in a different language) and she's like crying and I can't just go in and stop the argument cause a couple of years ago my grandpa hit my grandma and pushed her and she told me to call the police but I called my mom instead and then my family started arguing for like two months and my grandpa was upset at me for a while and I just don't want to go through this again :\ should I just leave it and not tell my parents?

It's not really physical, he just is really rude and harsh on her. And plus they marriage was arrange (that's how it was like in Iraq) so of course they don't like each other. Thanks Ana *hugs back*

You HAVE to tell someone Lil. Someone you can trust. Whatever your grandfather may think of you afterwards isn't worth letting something horrendous happen to your grandmother. Be strategic and tactful; don't just intervene suddenly. Be careful of what you do and say to lessen the heat of the moment, and the aftermath. Don't be scared Lil. *hugs*

Thanks Leah, he hasn't touched her since that day when I told. I think it was only that one time but if it does get worse I'm telling my mom, mainly because it's not her parents. It's my dad's :| and I don't want my dad to be depressed because he will really freak out and never speak to his own dad again. And the way they argue is really scary :\

It will be okay I guess :/ My grandpa and grandma just don't get along. My dad is usually on my nana's side but he never has actually seen them argue before, because they try not to in front of him. It just me and my sisters who witness it, sometimes my mom too (she always sides with my nana) but then my grandpa says somethings that pisses my mom off and oy it's like ugh.
