The mice slept, unaware of the kitten watching them hungrily.

Dreg emerged from the bushes, glancing around curiously. -

Xero looked up, still smiling. -
Dreg spotted the little girl. He could've sworn he'd seen her before. Once.

And then bang. The cat got shot. By who? Well, that's classified.
Okay fine.
A tall 20 year old with her blue hair back in a ponytail and her clear blue eyes narrowed kicked the cat's body in the lake, letting the mice crawl into her hand.
"Thanks Resa dear!"Ina squeaked, climbing on her shoulder. Dji nuzzled her face, doing the same. -

"Hi there!" -
RESA! :D
'Hi.' Dreg smiled back. -
"Your mice again? Dji, Ina..."
The mice sighed. -
"You sure look familiar."
