'b----.' Dreg muttered, storming away. 'God, I shoulda strangled her when I had the chance. Her stupid fhawkbuddy, too!' He gasped and stopped. 'But, then, who'd look after that kid? I couldn't just leave her alone...'
(Gee, there's Dreg, showing his nice side, for once!) -
Aw! :D
Xero looked at at her mother when she said her name, and smiled. -
'Oh, listen to yourself, Dreg!' the psycho groaned. 'You sound like a wimp! ...Still, I could NEVER end someone's life THAT soon.'
(Dreg may be evil, but he'd never kill an infant. NEVER. Even he has limits!) -

Sarah hovered, smiling back. The infant giggled, reaching out her hands. -
(I know. *hugs Dreg* You're so cuuuuuute sometimes!
Dreg: -_-')
'Dreg?' a voice called. Persephone. 'Dreg? You out here?'
'Yes.' Dreg called back. -

A while later, Xero sat by the lake. DAs grew fast, and though she was only a week old she could walk and talk. -
Persephone made her way down to the lake. She and Dreg had gotten seperated, and she figured he's be there.

She stared at her reflection in the water. The was tall enough to be around two years, but her face looked younger.

Persephone spotted a young child by the lake. 'Hello?' she called.

Xero looked over, smiling. "Hi!"

A small figure darted through the forest, followed by a bird.
The mouse squealed, as the falcon tried to eat her.
"No noes!"The black furred silver eyed mouse yelped, hiding her silver tail.
"Ina! This way!"Another mouse called. A scrawny injured white one. Ina ran over, and the two mice darted through a fox burrow to the lake.
They panted, getting a drink of the water.
"Dji, you okay?" "Yeah, what about you, Ina?"
"I'm fine" -
Persephone smiled back at her. 'What're you doing out here, all alone?' she asked, with a hint of suspicion.

Mice! :D
"I wanted to go out and play." she replied. -
The two curled up together. Brother and sister.

'Oh.' Seph sighed, realization kicking in.
