"no but it seems like they're kind of like and off white" Skyler said "hey look everyone's lining up." Suddenly she was drug ion tunnel vision, it opened and she saw all the back wings on one side of the field and white wings on the other side, she saw herself as the captain of te black wings. "attack" she said, and all the black wings sprinted twards the white wings and the leader of the white wings, her best friend Lirit. She was in tunnel vision and snapped back to reality.

"Oh, okay." I looked at my friend, she seemed to have spaced out. Once she 'came back to Earth', I instantly spoke. "What was that about?"

"I-i dont know" she said shocked " but i dont intend to find out"

"Oh, um, okay." I stood up and walked over to the lines. I didn't know which line to get in, though.

Her principle handed Skyler a bracelet "put this on" she ordered. " um, ok" she said she put it on, it was a small silver chain with a black stone on a charm. the stone charm felt cool against her skin. All of the boys in the grade were in a clump beside her, " what the hell is going on?" her friend Tyler said. " i have no clue" she responded " hey, your the only girl with black wings" Samuel said, they had been in the third grade together but his sister Samatha pulled a prank on her and they wernt the best of friends.

I glanced at my wings again. They were closer to white, so I rushed over to that group. Even though they made me look like a pigeon among a flock of doves. I turned to another student. "What's going on?"
"I dunno. Wait, do I even know you?"
I sighed and ignored her. -
Skyler looked around, no body else had a bracelet on, just her. she tried moving her wings. first the left, then the right. she tried to move the left wing in a little. It worked, then she tried to movee in the right wing in a little. That worked to. she had moved in her wings a little at a time to the point where they were about a foot around her body " hey, look whos figured out the wings" Tyler said. " yeah id like to see you try it" She snapped back, a few guys had watched this and went "oh" under their breath

I realized my wings were sticking out awkwardly. I tried to fold them in. They folded easily behind my back, almost make them disappear from sight if you looked at me from the front. I unfurled my wings and flapped them a bit. This wasn't to hard, until I slapped another student with my right wing and she became pissed at me. I folded my wings back up and stood there, trying to look innocent.

tyler tried to pull them out. she decideed to try something. she snapped out her wings then tucked them back in. " hey, ow-" he whined . "thats what you get for messing with my wings" she said

I stared over at Skyler and the kids with black wings. She was the only girl. It didn't look like there was a boy over here, though...

I sighed. Wasn't there a guy over here? Oh wait, I saw one. But he was a lonely little nerd who nobody liked. He was better than nothing, so I went over and started chatting with him. Guys were more interesting than girls, anyway. Except for Skyler.

She tried to read tylers mind, he had been getting under her skin lately. she saw that he really liked her and wanted her to notice him. se smiled to herself and walked off. " whats up with her" tyler asked.
