"So, um, what's up?" I asked timidly.
The boy looked up at me and put his glasses back on. "Oh, hi Lirit."
I was shocked. "You know my name?"
"Yeah."
I didn't know his name. I tried to remember. Oh yeah, he was in a few classes with me. "So, Conner, what's up?"
"Not much. Why do we have wings?"
"I dunno."
"Well, I like them. It's like a video game." -
Tyler walked through the crowd of scared and excited boys and walked up to skyler " what was that back there?!" he said " look, can you keep a secret?" she asked knowing that hed say yes. " of course" he responded " i think i can read minds, and see the future" she said timidly", " so you saw this coming" He asked angrily " hell no, but i can see... things" she said

I was confused. Why would this be a video game? Even if it were, it wouldn't be fun. Then again, he probably would love that. I rolled my eyes. "Well, anyway... it's finally summer, right?"
"Yeah," he muttered. "I've got quite a lot of plans."
I grinned. "Like what?"
"Oh, just computer camp and such."
What a nerd. -
" well i have a secret of my own-" she cut him off. " look save romance for later. we need to be ready for something, something big"

I looked around. Some teachers had come to lead us... somewhere. I looked over at the black-winged group, hoping to see Skyler. I did, but she was chatting. I ignored Conner's babble as I was deep in thought.

She walked to the stage and sat down on the stage, she pulled her knees to her chest and unfolded her wings, shee formed them into a little half circle around her body. like if her thoughts were a speaker then everyone would know, but at the moment everyone elses thoughts seemed to be crashing into her skull. invading her head and she had no way of defending herself, against the loud thoughts of confusion, anxiety, and fear that she could hear. She closed her eyes and put her head down.

I became stuck in the middle of the crowd, even though I felt alone. I focused, even though I was so frustrated right now. Suddenly the person next to me grumbled and glared at me.
"What's your problem?" I asked, glaring back.
"Shut up," she said.
"No need to be so angry." I tried to calm myself down, first. She calmed down, too. Was she mocking me, or was I controlling her emotions?

" Hey, i have no idea whats going on, and it seems like you have an idea, but dont want to" came a voice, It was her soon to be boyfriend, Matthew, by soon to be when he walked up he couldnt stop thinking about her, her hair, her eyes, her wings, just her as a person. in fact he was planning to ask her out, wings, and insanity aside. -
(Wait, does Emmett have strength or something?)
I stared over at Matthew and Skyler. I hoped they'd become a couple...

" yeah, i just dont know what to do," Skyler said weakly, " you wouldnt understand" she added, feeling lost. "well how about we talk over dinner and a movie, when all this s- crap is over" he said. he was mature and smart like her. his wings were pure black and about three inches longer than skylers. " sounds great, but you dont know what your getting yourself into, in fact im not even sure" she accecpted. he jumped on the stage and sat down, he put his wing around her. -

I grinned, looking over at her. Remembering what had happened previously, I escaped the crowd where I could use my emotions for myself. -
