She fell to her knees and felt this weird feeling and she felt as she was growing two extra limbs. She stood up and sprinted to her seat, in the back row. She had no clue how to fold them in but everyone just sat speechless. She pulled her hoodie over her head. And slumped sown in her seat. Then her best friend walked up to the stage. "oh dear god no, do not make her suffer" she whispered to herself.

I walked back to my seat. Usually, at a graduation, you got a diploma. But no, this year you got wings. My brother didn't get wings when he graduated. Speaking of my brother, what would my family think?

I glanced over at the teachers. None of them seemed surprised. Not even my music teacher. I was her favorite student, and she didn't warn me? How was I supposed to be a violin legend like she told me I'd be when I had a giant pair of wings sticking out of my back? -
"how am I supposed to be a basket ball ledgend with wings attached to my back" se said "how am I supposed to go to senior prom with Jason?" she thought

"Really?" I muttered. "You're worried about prom? Personally, I'd be a little more worried about the former."

"I didnt say that, I was thinking that" she said. "and besides, it's not like we can't get some sort of surgery for this" "but it's only the first night, this... Could be fun" she added

I ignored the weirdness that I was hearing her thoughts. "Yeah, it could be. Maybe wait it out for the summer. I'd rather fly on road trips than drive with my parents. But, I doubt there's surgery. I mean, how many people come to the hospital asking for wing removal?"

"maybe some sort of avian, neculear thing" "and yeah, I would like to figure our how these things work," she said while picking at some of the lower feathers. "hey look, there are white and black wings, looks like the guys are black, and the girls are white" she looked at her own wings "but, mine are black" he said to her self

"Maybe. But still, I doubt it. Humans don't usually have avian body parts." I looked back at my wings. "Mine are like, almost black. They're grey, actually. See anybody else with grey wings?"
