richard heard a loud, scary, and unusual growl and it came from the window, richard prepared himself, there was also a mysterious necklace around richard's neck, it seemed to be glowing a bit, or something

I turned toward the window, shocked. "What was that?"

richard still didn't answer, but his eyes seemed to flicker from red to black, he knew that he had to do something, or it could end up that the girl he meant to be with gets killed

I continued to stare at the window, and then at Richard, and then at the window again. Honestly, I was surprised I could tell it was him at all. He looked like a tall pale and red blob with weird things sticking out of his back. I walked over to my nightstand and put on my contacts.

( well he isn't a blob, and the only thing that is sticking out of his back is his wings )
richard knew what the girl was doing, but he hoped that the creature wouldn't choose to attack yet, but suddenly, it tried to burst through the window but it wasn't strong enough, but he knew that there wouldn't be much time left until the dark creature broke into the room, he formed a shadowball in his hand just in case -
(She didn't have her contacts in. Her eyesight sucks.)
I looked at Richard's hand, and what was in his hand. -
( lol )
the creature cracked the window "prepare yourself" richard said to the girl, he wanted the girl to be ready in case she was attacked -
"Uh, okay. How, exactly?" I barely knew what he was talking about, so I shielded myself with my arms.

the dark creature suddenly roared loudly and broke through the window, richard through the shadowball at it, but it didn't hurt it much, it looked like a tiger, but it had the face of a dragon and it had a blade sticking out of it's forehead, it's eyes were glowing orange with black in the middle

I screamed and practically jumped away from Richard and the creature.

richard saw the creature turn and it was about to tackle the girl, he ran right in front of the girl and got tackled instead, he fell to the ground and felt claws dig right into his skin, richard didn't scream though, he has had worse before -
(Yes, yes she did.)
I didn't know what to do, so I ran up to the creature and started punching and kicking it like a crazy person. -
the creature roared in pain and jumped away, richard slowly got up, he was in a little bit of pain, but he didn't care, the creature suddenly jumped out the window and ran away

I walked quickly over to Richard. "Hey, are you okay?"

"yes" richard said, "I just want to tell you this, I am your guardian"
