richard looked at the girl again, but knew that he couldn't get the girl's trust right now for what he did, he spread out his wings and flew away and when richard left, the mist slowly disappeared

"Wait!" I screamed. I still wanted to know who the guy was. After all, he was... kinda cute. Well, actually, more than kinda. I noticed the mist disappearing around me. I stared off in the direction he'd flown away in.
Once I left the forest, an hour or so later, I was caught in a heavy rainfall and was getting drenched. -
richard flew right into rain, and he couldn't fly because he could barely see anything, so he went to the ground and rested, he heard loud rumbles of thunder and saw bright flashes of lightning, he got caught in a storm, but he didn't realize that the girl followed him

I continued to walk, almost home. I saw the guy again. Was I going crazy? I hoped not. I cautiously walked up to him. "Some storm, huh?"

richard turned and saw the girl, but he wasn't surprised, he didn't have that emotion, but he didn't say anything either, but he was happy that the girl came back

"Hey. You're drenched. But, uh, I guess I am, too." I realized it was easier to talk. Maybe it was because I wasn't so crept out. But, we were both drenched, I was close to my house, and I just wanted to be polite to him. Maybe he'd actually say more than one word to me. "Hey, we're both really close to my place, and we're both soaked, if you want, you can come over and dry off."

richard quietly said "ok" and walked along with the girl, he wasn't sure if the girl just wanted to be nice or if she actually decided to trust him, but he didn't say anything else

I was pleased when he agreed and came along with me. I was still a little afraid of him, but he didn't seem that bad anymore.

richard slowly got to the girl's house, but he was really cold, but wasn't shaking, he wanted to go in a warm spot, richard entered the house with the girl

"Just a sec. I'm going to go get some towels," I said to him, and rushed off. I came back a few moments later with some towels and handed him two.

richard took the 2 towels for a minute, he was already dry, but it was because of his strange power, he gave them back, he knew he should still be freezing and wet, but he wasn't, he was dry after half a minute in the house, "thank you, but I dont need them"

"Oh, okay," I mumbled, taking the towels and a little confused. Hadn't he been soaking wet a few moments ago?

richard noticed that the girl seemed a bit confused, but he didn't care, he hoped that the girl was getting use to him

Well, he seemed pretty strange and confusing anyway. I looked outside. The storm looked to have no chance of letting up. "Well, uh, it looks like the storm's not letting up, so I'm sorry I invited you in, only for you to get soaked again. Unless you'd like to stay the night here."

"I will stay" richard said quietly, he looked around, he felt like the girl and himself was in danger for some reason, but he didn't know why, it was like another dark force was around them and watching them, he didn't like it at all
