I followed the zombie's gaze. She was staring at my dagger. "Oh no, nuh uh! I am NOT letting you have this!" I clutched the dagger even tighter. My hands were starting to hurt, was I really holding the dagger that tight?

I glanced over at the boy. Let's see, his name was.... Max! His name was Max. I glanced over at Max. "No."

I laughed, and forced my skin to get some color, and to not look so creepy.
"I'm not going to kill any of you, it that's what you were thinking." I held up my hand, and pointed to my wrist where a thick rope was tied. "I just wanted to get this damn thing off." -
I looked at the rope. "Oh," I said sheepishly. I carefully walked up to her and started severing the rope.

After it was off, I rubbed my red wrist. "Thanks," I said, "I'm Kat. Don't worry, I normally don't eat humans..."

I smiled at the other zombie, who didn't look so scary, actually more a bit more human like.
I opened my mouth to speak, when a terrible wail tore through the air. My eyes wide, I looked down the street to see a women with her chest cut open, her heart pumping blood out of the wound.
My instincts hieghtened, then dimmed when I saw a whole hord of zombies pour out of a building and mob the woman, then look down the street towards where I was standing. -

I followed Kat's gaze and stared down the street, wide-eyed. That boy, Max, wondered why I didn't like zombies. That was why.
