"Hehe." He smiled and ordered a banana boat. "And the fudge is actually hot."

He eyed the board posted with what he could order. He decided upon an old favorite -- chocolate chip cookie dough on a waffle chocolate dipped cone. (^^ my personal favorite.) Devin smiled, handing the cashier the money. "Keep the change." -
He waited patiently.

He grabbed his ice cream and took Nikki's hand.

He took the bowl. "Yumm."

He smiled. "Nothing like ice cream to keep your mind off things." -
He took a spoonful. "Mhm~."

He licked his ice cream. "So much has happened in the past week. Sometimes I think it's a dream." He paused. "I hope I never wake up."

"It's not a dream, love. It's reality." He took his hand and smiled.

He looked into his eyes and grinned. "And that's what makes me the happiest boy alive."
