"Hey, Mom..." he looked at the man with no expression. "Oh, hi. I'm Ronald," the guy shook Devin's hand. "Uh... Mom... Ronald, this is Nikki." He found it rather awkward just standing here. The guy smelled like pot and cigarette smoke. (.___. i have no clue if i already decided on a name... so i made a new one.) -

Nikki fanned at his nose. "Bleck! Sorry, sir, but you smell!" -

Devin looked at his mom questionably as if to say, Why him? Ronald sighed. "Sorry 'bout that." Devin fought the urge to roll his eyes. -
"If you were really sorry, you would've never done it in the first placed. And please, dont breath on me." He shown that same look of anger that Arata had shown the day before.

Devin glanced over at Nikki. "Wanna head out? Maybe grab some icecream or something?" He wanted to get away from this guy.

He smiled. "Yeah. By the way, enjoy the couch."

"Hehe, yeah." They looked confused. Devin chuckled a bit and led Nikki out the front door, past the two dumbfounded adults.

"Morons..." He took his hand when they were out of sight.

"Tell me about it," he sighed. "I can't believe she's marrying that pothead."

"They're both on crack."

"I understand now. She didn't want me to meet him before they got engaged because I'd use common sense and say she shouldn't." He shook his head.

"I don't know. This guy's got her so smitten with 'love' she won't register a word I say."
