He finished, checked to see if the teacher was looking, and took Devin's hand.

He smiled and squeezed his hand softly.

He gently swung their arms.

"Who wants to share?" the teacher looked around the room.

He shook his head, not wanting to share.

He bowed his head, avoiding her gaze. He already had to share something earlier today.

He tried to keep from getting picked.

"Alright. I'll just choose some one at random." She pulled out the class list. "Nikki."

"Damnit!"

Devin looked over at him. "I'll go if you want."

Hate to interupt... But, I posted the prolouge, Alana.

"No, it's fine." He got up.

He watched Nikki, thinking about how brave he was. -
He cleared his throat and spoke as clearly as he could.

He listened to Nikki's words, wondering what he was thinking about as he spoke them.
