He shrugged. "Maybe it's just genetics?"

"I don't think so. Neither of my parents look like that."

"Hmm.. I guess that's a mystery yet to be solved then." The teacher finally strolled in, readying handouts for the class.

"What would you like to do when we get home?" He asked, whispering.

He smiled. "I guess we'll find out then, won't we?"

"You're such a tease." He pushed on his arm.

He smirked. "Sure am." The teacher glared at them.

He threw that innocent face at the teacher. "What???"

"No talking." The teacher pushed their glasses up and continued the lesson.
Devin chuckled a bit. -
He giggled quietly.

They were told to write a paragraph about what love meant to them. Devin picked up his pen and started writing, words flowing across the page.

Nikki smiled and looked at Devin now and then while writing.

Devin finished and watched Nikki write. He added one last touch to his. Love is knowing he's the one you want to be with forever, no matter what.

He sang softly while he wrote.

Devin loved Nikki's voice. It made him feel calm and at peace.
