set in a dystopian future in which firemens job is no longer to put out fires, but now to burn books. it's about governmental censorship. ironic that in some places it's been banned lol

dang lol. I don't think its banned necessarily, I read that these books have parents freaking out over mature and dark themes, so most of them opt out, making it hard to teach.

I Google all of them and I'm seeing a pattern lol, most of them are based off the Holocaust, with one of them being someones experience from being in a Nazi camp.

My teacher is a very badass person, but a very bad teacher unfortunately. I love her as a person, but I wish she'd choose another job lmaooo
The book although widely seen as a book about censorship nowadays is actually about the rise of technology. Not trying to demean the theme you got from the book, it has a ton of censorship centered tones, but the author originally wrote it to show a technology is turning our brains into mush and making us stray from books type mindset. Again, both themes are very important for us to think about these days, it's just that reading it while focusing on one rather than the other can give you a TOTALLY different view on the book yknow? -
And the Barnes & Noble in my area had a list of the top 100 books banned in districts/counties in my state, and Farenheit 451 was #4 on it, so it's banned in almost every public library and school here
