God gave everyone free will. nobody's shoving beliefs down anyone's throats yet these people accuse christians of trying to. we tell people the gospel and move on; their journey in Christ doesn't depend on us and people need to stop acting like it does

i got complimented
and i cried :') a year ago i got compliments all the time before i left public school. i was pretty indifferent to them and did appreciate them, but it feels like when you don't receive one for a while, it's just so much more touching -
exactly why i do my best to compliment people when i see something in them i like. it makes people's day and gives them a reason to keep doing what they're doing

too many people focus on the negative aspects of life. i know that all the friends i used to have i would compliment 24/7 but they were still depressed, because they were focusing on the negative and lingering on those instead. i used to be the same. id remember one negative comment for years but would never remember a single positive one until finally i decided that i didn't want to be sad and alone anymore

that's also why i've been writing down all the comments i've received since november:) it lets me look back and acknowledge my good traits
