"I think I'll eat in the dining room today, Makoto. I'd actually like to talk a bit," Alec replied.

What if Alec's home happened to be in the forest near where Kristi is at the moment
And she stumbles upon it?
"Okay." So Makoto set the plate on the table, and hurried back for her own food. -
I liketh that idea. :)
Alec sat down and took a long sip of coffee and waited for Makoto to return. -
Bwee sounds good.
Kristi slipped her soft soled shoes back on. She would have gone barefoot, but thorns do hurt..
She continued walking, exploring. She soon came upon a house..deep in the forest?
An odd feeling settled in the pit of her stomach, as she blinked at it. -
Makoto returned, and placed her plate before the chair beside Alec. "It's lovely outside, this morning." she said.

"Yes, it is, isn't it?" Alec ate a piece of bacon. "Well... I guess I was just wondering... Why you stayed with me all this time. Like, everyone is so disgusted and you seem to like me better this way."

She wanted to get a closer look. But she stayed were she was for that second, wondering...why in the middle of the forest?
Only bad things could come out of a house there, right?
She approached anyway, slowly, not quite sure why she was even doing it. She wanted to turn and dart away, back to the lake, back to Thomas. But she kept going. -
"I guess it's because you're not focused on your looks and popularity anymore, and more focused on your actions and reactions." Makoto replied.
