I like cats a little better because they match my needs more and I think they're cuter, but I still LOVE dogs..my parents dogs are absolutely adorable and so sweet.
One thing I've noticed and a lot of people on TikTok say, is that most of the time cat people also like dogs, they just prefer cats, whereas dog people are more likely to say they hate cats and that cats are scum..not true for everyone but there's definitely a strong correlation! -

I also wanna say that I really like cats. I went to my uncle’s farm once (not actually my uncle, just close friend of my dad), and they had a few cats. I never pet them or really got close, but I remember seeing them follow us out to the fields while we went to see the goats or the horses.
There’s definitely a quiet nature to them, where they’ll just slink around in the grass minding their own business. -
But like, if the general personalities of cats were turned into people, I would hate them.
Like if cats were people, I feel like they’d stalk around and occasionally make themselves known in convo. Dogs are naturally more outgoing and energetic, and they display traits of what would be a very loyal companion ❤ -
Dogs are so sweet. They love you unconditionally. They just want pets and play. I love dogs
But if we're talking about theideal pet, I'd prefer a cat simply because they're less smelly and easier to care for (like, they require less energy to play with, and use their own bathroom by themselves)
I still like dogs more, but I think if I can get allergy shots I'd prefer to have a cat because I'm not an energetic person -
Also, dogs always stink. No matter how many baths they have or how many green chewy things you give them. It's just their nature
Cat smell is way kore subtle and way less stinky -
You can get hypoallergenic cats. My cat is hypoallergenic and had really soft pretty fur still. There's a Misconception that it's the fur, but it's actually an enzyme in cats saliva that makes people allergic to them.
I just like to spread awareness about it because a lot of people dislike cats because they can't have them and I like to let them know there's lots of breeds of cats that produce no to little allergens! -
Yeah, I love my dog but he’s a little stinky sometimes.
I also think that both pets can be energetic or just calm. There are some crazy dogs, and some quiet ones. There are some quiet cats, and some loud ones. There’s a really wide range of how they act.
So I guess I just like energetic, happy, animals?
