When does the rp get out of hand? How do the mods feel. I appreciate that y'all have taken a backseat approach to this all and let everyone have fun but I noticed the gtq countries devolving more and more into casual rp threads so I thought I'd ask where you guys would like the line to be drawn or give any and all opinions about the situation. It seems like harmless fun that everyone's enjoying (myself included) but I can see it quickly becoming too much, so if anyone has feedback about it I wanted to make a space for us to talk about it!
I personally don't care but I recognize the reason for the rules. I love all your countries btw! -
I think that the information should be here(almost like a personal venting thread), but all future interaction threads should be in the stage room. That is just my opinion, though. I will except whatever the mods choose on.

[ In all seriousness, majority of people who wanted the role-playing banned from the lounge, no longer come online / were banned from the site / have changed their stance.
The type of rp we have doesn't fit in the stage, and putting it in the garage also annoys people.
Since some of the mods have participated I personally think it's okay.
As for the countries, this isn't anything that hasn't been done in the lounge before, e.g my level of lore for the Isles is just the same as previous lore for my previous official threads, so I really don't think it should count, even if we go back to banishing causal rpers to the garage] -
When I made gtq town I did not mean for it to become a country when we voted for mayor, but it did. Then people started making their own countries like crazy all of the sudden, and now everyone’s casual venting threads are pages down and some people just forget about them lol. Anyway, I am sorry if I caused any chaos because I did not mean to and I hope that this doesn’t go on forever. I am fine for like a couple of months, but not tooo long if you know what I mean.

I personally don't like to see a gatekeeping community so if we change our stance id say that's totally awesome! We would just need to discuss new guidelines and expectations. A flood of threads dedicated to rp might bury other's and since this is the most popular sub forum we need respectful perimeters so that it doesn't become a problem again and people don't get annoyed.

Like sometimes, I really want my oc to "meet" people and have normal conversations, which is out of place in the stage and gets completely ignored in the lounge.
I think yeah, there should be guidelines, but I'd personally rather not be banished to the garage, since its very boring and users actually do complain about us being in there too, but conversational rp often gets said to not be allowed in the stage, because its not "real" roleplay]] -
